In Green Pastures By The Quiet Water

From my childhood memory, this painting is about children’s relationship with animals. When I was a little girl my grandma had sheep. One day one of them broken his leg. I took care of my poor lamb but in the village no one keeps a little lamb with a broken leg, they make dinner of it. Unfortunately, no one paid attention to this little girl's tears or her plea to keep the lamb.
